December 5-12 is Buy Carrboro Week as proclaimed by the Board of Aldermen and sponsored by LocalMotive. Merchants throughout town will be participating. We have developed materials to engage residents and inform them about the importance of supporting community-based businesses. To get involved or for more information, go to the contact tab. Minimally we would like to display small handouts in your business.

On Saturday, December 12, we will participate in the Holiday Parade with a banner, signs, and handouts. Anyone excited about Carrboro and keeping it local is encouraged to participate. For more information, go to the contact tab.

$2 Bill Campaign – participating merchants are providing $2 bills as change with information encouraging shoppers to “keep it local” and recirculate those dollars by supporting other local businesses.
